A final reflection on our “Noir We There Yet” show? It was freaking awesome!
Ok, let me get to the reflection now….
When I listened to our show live, I am pleased to say that I was very happy with the way it turned out. We had an awesome team, and every member of our Noir We There Yet team delivered. What I liked most about hearing our show live was the way that all of our commercials and bumpers strung together perfectly with the show layout. It was almost like we planned it that way! If you didn’t get a chance to listen to the show yet, and you want to see what all the HYPE is about, you can find it on my “THIS POST IS SO AWESOME” post. I assure you, you will not be disappointed!
I know this is a completely normal thing, but I did not like the sound of my voice on the show. I am in no way insecure, I just do not have the voice for radio. I think if I were to do something different, then I would use a different voice for the show to make it sound more “radio-y”. Maybe a Bruce Buffer voice would do.. Although, my teammates were very supportive and said I sounded great. Liars are fryers!
I felt like the feedback/criticism we got from the show was really positive. People seemed to enjoy every aspect of it, especially the people that count (the professors).

The vine in this tweet sums me up after working with this group. Truly enjoyed the experience. Awesome job to everyone.

As far as advice goes, I would tell my future ds106er’s to jump on it as soon as the assignment is issued. This is something our group did and it really paid off for us. It allowed us to focus on other aspects of the class and to really be sure we were delivering a quality product.
