I decided to tune in for some ds106radio for two nights this week. Let me tell you, there were some great shows on too!
The first one I listened to was “Get A Clue”. This group really did a great job in my opinion. From the commercials/bumpers to the sound effects, everything that went with this show kept me interested. The storyline itself was funny and kept me listening. I could tell this group spent a lot of time perfecting their script.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to catch the second show that night because I was dead tired, but I did however tune in the next night for both of the shows. “Noir at Night” and “The Silk Road” were on schedule, so I turned on the radio while I did some laundry (I know, pretty exciting life I live). It gave me the opportunity to really listen. Both shows, I must say, did an excellent job just innovating the ds106radio game. I thought the “Noir at Night” crew did a great job at tying the bumpers into the show and the order in which they put the commercials/bumpers. “The Silk Road” had some intriguing background noise that really helped put you in the scene of the show.
Overall, both groups on 3/18 did an exceptional job, as well as the show I listened to on 3/17. Can’t say enough about how impressed I am with everyone’s work. My favorite part, every show was different and each group was committed to delivering nothing but the best!
